3 Questions to Answer to Create Your Client Embrace System



What’s the first thing you do when you meet an old friend?

It begins with a squeal of recognition, then a kiss on the cheek followed a great big hug, right? It feels warm, joyous and hopeful, like good things are just around the corner.

Why shouldn’t you get that same yummy feeling when you bring new clients into your business? There’s no good reason except you haven’t tried it.  After all, new clients are heart-connected friends you hadn’t met until now. (well, that’s how I think about you).

What I call ‘embracing clients’  is how you bring a new client into your tribe or family. This isn’t something to leave to chance or be lacksadaisal about.  That old chestnut about first impressions definitely applies here.

To get off to a great start, ask yourself:

  • What do I need to do, give or explain to help my client take her next step?
  • Have I explained what materials, information, fees, or preparation I need to do my best work?
  • What can I do to surprise my client with extra value?

You can use this client embrace system as a follow up to your pricing conversation or save it for later when you actually start working together.  Either way, kick up the ‘know, like & trust’ factor by making your client feel safe, like they’re in good hands.
